The configuration of the inlet main pipe of large-scale dust removal equipment is related to the air flow distribution of the dust removal equipment and whether the resistance of each filter bag chamber is uniform. If a simple parallel connection is adopted, due to the inertial effect of dust, the dust concentration in the rear filter bag chambers along the air flow direction is often higher than that in the front filter bag chambers. If an air duct regulating valve is used, for highly abrasive dust, the valve plate is likely to be worn during operation, thus failing to play the role of regulating the air volume.
To solve the problem of air volume distribution in the inlet main pipe, it is recommended to reduce the wind speed of the main pipe (<12m/s) and set up a special diversion device to reduce the inertial effect of dust, which is conducive to the uniform distribution of air flow. At the same time, adopt measures for the inlet branch pipes to prevent dust accumulation to avoid dust deposition.
Therefore, the air volume distribution of the dust collector main pipe should be carried out according to the air flow distribution simulation test report of the dust collector inlet. At the same time, adjustable air volume valves should be installed in the inlet pipes of each box of the dust collector, and off-line valves should be installed in the outlet pipes of each box of the dust collector.
